Privacy Policy
Effective 18 September 2026
The short version
- No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising.
- Your preferences live in your own browser and never reach us.
- Player pages show data other people have made public through Hypixel's API; nothing about the players is stored beyond a few minutes of caching.
- We do not know who you are and are not trying to find out.
1. What happens when you visit
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. There are no accounts or sign-up forms.
Preferences such as the light or dark theme, the buffs you tick on, the zone toggles, the pet or tool you select and the players you mark as favourites are saved in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel records technical request logs (IP address, time, requested path, browser identification) to operate and secure the service; Vercel is based in the United States and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not add any logging of our own and do not use those logs to identify visitors.
2. Images loaded from other services
A player's skin and head are shown using images from mc-heads.net and skins.mcstats.com. Your browser fetches those images directly, so those services see your IP address and the requested player, under their own privacy practices. Item icons are served from sky.nucleus.moe itself.
3. Looking up a player
When you open a player page, our server asks Mojang for the player's UUID, Hypixel for their profile data, and ninjune.dev for their coleweight. Those requests contain the searched name or UUID, not anything about you. The responses are cached on our server for a few minutes (up to about a day for name/UUID pairs) to avoid repeated requests, then discarded. Nothing is written to a database.
The data shown - usernames, ranks, profile names, inventories, pets, skills - is what those players have made available through Hypixel's public API, which every player can restrict in the SkyBlock settings. We display it on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a game-statistics tool, and remove it on request (see section 5).
4. If you contact us
If you write to contact@nucleus.moe or message ilovecatsyes on Discord, we receive your address or Discord username and your message, use them to reply, and do not add you to any list or share them. Discord messages are also subject to Discord's own privacy policy.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion. Because the site stores no visitor data, in practice this concerns emails you have sent us and, for players, the request to keep your profile from being displayed. Email contact@nucleus.moe with your in-game name and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
6. Changes
Material changes will be noted on this page together with a new effective date.
